Senior Paralegal
Margaret grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, which had about 35,000 residents at the time. "It was a nice small town," she says, despite the fact that the atomic bomb was assembled there. Since the city began as a government facility, there were many fenced-off areas when she was growing up, but Margaret and her sister "knew where to go to avoid the radiation." Before she moved to Nashville in 1990, Margaret lived for a time in Las Vegas, where her husband worked as a professional gambler. Margaret enjoyed the city (and spending her husband's winnings) but she plans to remain here in Nashville, which she describes as "just the right size." Still, if she won the lottery she'd consider moving some place tropical. She and her husband are enthusiastic Titans fans, though she also likes the Steelers, Packers and Raiders. When she isn't at work, she enjoys reading true crime and thriller novels and collecting hedgehogs. Margaret also likes to spend time with her husband and their two sizeable cats. |

Margaret began in May 1998 as a receptionist with the firm. She was soon promoted to legal assistant, then paralegal, and now senior paralegal. She takes information from clients, files suits, monitors cases, gathers medical records and progresses clients forward through treatment. Afterward, she puts together a demand package. She works the case with the assigned lawyer all the way to conclusion.
