The police department of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is investigating two separate accidents that occurred recently in the area. Two people were seriously injured, requiring them to be taken to the hospital for treatment. The car accidents occurred in the city of Murfreesboro, which is the county seat of Rutherford County. Murfreesboro is also a part of the Nashville metropolitan area.

Drunk driver involved in hit-and-run accident

Another accident caused by a drunk driver has been reported in Nashville, Tennessee. This time a female driver was arrested on charges of driving under the influence following the DUI accident. She is also being charged with assault with a weapon and intentionally hitting the driver of another car in a hit-and-run accident.

Alleged drunk driver in Memphis crash causes fatality

A 22-year-old man spotted two cars that had stopped in the right lane of Interstate 240 and made a quick turn to avoid hitting the vehicles. However, the car right behind him collided right into the stopped cars. According to police reports, the incident is being considered a drunk driving accident.

Car crash leaves man and woman seriously injured

A car crash has seriously injured two motorists at the Gainesboro Grade and County Farm Road intersection. Both the accident victims were taken to Vanderbilt Hospital based in Nashville, Tennessee. The car accident victims have been identified as a 70-year-old and a 56-year-old, both residents of Backfield Lane, Gainesboro.
