Multivehicle accident blocks Interstate 40 in Tennessee

A multi-vehicle accident was recently reported on the westbound Interstate 40 in Wilson County. The accident occurred during the morning hours. According to reports released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the car accident occurred as a result of a ladder lying in the westbound lane of Interstate 40.

DUI accident in Nashville leaves one injured

A sport utility vehicle collision in east Nashville left one person injured. The driver was arrested for drunk driving. According to the police investigation, two SUVs were involved in a collision during the night hours. The alcohol related accident occurred near Main Street and South 6th. A passenger traveling in one of the SUVs sustained minor injuries during the accident.

Driver arrested for hitting pedestrian drove with revoked license

A driver was arrested by the police in Madison, Tennessee, after he was allegedly involved in an accident, which left a pedestrian with serious injuries. According to police, the negligent driver was driving with a revoked license. The 43-year-old driver was driving on East Marthona Road in the evening when he struck a 42-year-old pedestrian. According to the driver's statement, he did not see the pedestrian. According to the police, it was an alcohol related accident as the driver was allegedly drunk at the time of the accident.

Victim of fatal truck accident in Rutherford identified

The officials of the Tennessee Highway Patrol have identified the victim of a fatal truck accident, which occurred in Rutherford County. The victim has been identified as a 41-year-old resident of Columbia, Tennessee. The truck accident occurred in the morning.

Two killed and three injured in Robertson County car crash

Two people lost their lives and a three-year-old girl was left critically injured after a head-on collision in Robertson County involving two cars. The three-year-old girl was traveling with her mother, grandmother and infant brother in one of the cars involved in the accident. The car collision occurred during the late evening hours in the area where Springfield turns into Greenbrier. A car traveling in the opposite direction collided head-on with the car being driven by the girl's mother. The grandmother of the girl, who was a passenger, died from injuries sustained during the car accident. The 27-year-old driver of the other car also lost his life in the crash.

Drunk driving accident claims two lives in Shelbyville

An accident in Shelbyville, Tennessee, has led to the death of two Bedford County residents. The accident occurred during early morning hours on Shelbyville's Highway 64. According to police reports, a Toyota Tundra went off the road, hit a culvert and then spun around and hit a tree. The 29-year-old driver of the Toyota and a 28-year-old passenger were declared dead at the scene. Another 22-year-old passenger in the back seat of the car sustained critical injuries, but is now in stable condition. Police report this was an alcohol-related accident.
