Founder of Tennessee outreach program dies in car crash

There is nothing quite comparable to the pain of losing a loved one in a motor vehicle accident. Nothing can prepare the loved ones of victims for this trauma. This pain and suffering may be further exacerbated when family members are then asked to endure the financial difficulties that come with lost wages, medical expenses and other damages resulting from the crash. Thankfully, loved ones of victims who have had to endure such financial strain have options available to them to help with these costs.

A recent car accident in Tennessee resulted in the tragic death of a woman. The woman was the founder of an outreach program in Tennessee that offered free food and clothing to people with no or low incomes. According to those that knew her, the woman came from a rough upbringing and turned her life around, eventually founding the outreach program to help people struggling in the way she once did. In her absence, her family has experienced many difficulties in keeping the outreach program alive.

The tragic accident happened in the early evening when the woman was driving south on a Tennessee street. A northbound vehicle attempting to make a left-hand turn stopped in the woman's lane, forcing the woman to swerve so as to avoid it. This caused her vehicle to roll between one to three times -- and tragically, even though the woman was wearing a seatbelt, the trauma of the rolling vehicle resulted in fatal injuries.

A fatal car accident can, in many cases, be caused by another driver's negligence. Negligence is any action that is considered reckless -- such as speeding, distracted driving and the like -- and when evidence points to another driver being guilty of negligence, victims often choose to pursue compensation. While nothing can ever undo the pain and suffering of losing a loved one in an auto accident, compensation can help to ease the great financial burden that often results.
